Internship - Project finance and M&A M/F

LES MISSIONS

Our Asset Sale, Investment & Funding team is looking for an intern for a period of 6 months starting in January 2027.

Reporting to investment managers, associates and analysts, the candidate will be involved in all aspects across the entire transaction cycle: (i) financial modeling, (ii) project structuring, (iii) transaction management, and (iv) investment memos writing. In particular, the candidate will have the following responsibilities:

• Build financial models for project finance or valuation purposes; 
• Develop new models and enhance the existing ones; 
• Audit existing financial models both internally or provided by advisors; 
• Challenge financial inputs and technical inputs included in the financial models; 
• Create PPT presentations and pitches for any kind of projects (M&A and project finance); 
• Apply appropriate sensitivity and scenario analysis to support investment actions; 
• Incorporate business feedback and expertise in the models; 
• Assist the team in identifying and recommending possible investment opportunities, conduct research, due diligence, and execute on existing and new investments;  
• Work closely with the project development teams in the assessment of the projects profitability; 
• Work closely with other departments of the Group included subsidiaries abroad; 
• Work on transverse missions for the Asset Sale, Investment & Funding Department.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPÉRIENCES

• Engineering or Management /Finance Degree about to be obtained (gap year or final-year internship); 
• Previous experience in project finance or M&A is highly appreciated; 
• Interest in infrastructure or renewable energy sectors; 
• First exposure to financial modelling - M&A / Project finance / Structured finance; 
• Good command of Excel and PowerPoint; 
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills (knowledge of VBA is a plus); 
• French fluent and English proficiency (written and spoken; mandatory).
