HSE EPC Coordinator M/F
The Health, Safety & Environment Coordinator We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as an Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Coordinator. The ideal candidate will oversee various HSE aspects across multiple projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and Voltalia´s standards while fostering a culture of safety and sustainability. - Lead the development and implementation of HSE policies, procedures, across multiple projects, according to local regulation and Voltalia´s standards;
- Provide guidance and support to project teams in identifying and mitigating health, safety, and environmental risks;
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement;
- Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety and environmental regulations, standardscodes of practices and Client´s requirements;
- Coordinate projects HSE external teams;
- Supervise and maintain all legal and contractual HSE documentation for the projects, includingpermits, licenses, authorizations and other relevant documentation, according to the legal requirements, Client requirements and Voltalia´s standards;
- Participate in on Risk Assessment for the activities, development of HSE Plans, Preventive Instructions, RAMS (Risk Assessment Method Statment, Checklists and other specific local HSE documentation;
- Development and implementation of the Emergency Plans;
- Coordinate safety training and awareness programs for employees and contractors:;
- Maintain accurate records of all health, safety, and environmental activities.and report Health, Safety & Environment KPI´s;
- Coordinate investigation of workplace incidents, accidents, and injuries and propose corrective measuresVoltalia representation towards official agencies in case of accident (environmental or safety);
- Participation in HSE meetings, internal and external with Subcontractors, Suppliers and Clients (if needed);
- Collaborate with internal teams to promote a culture of safety and sustainability throughout the organization
- Support the Human Resources on HSE issues;
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will be/have: - Technical level Graduation, preferably in the energy or construction sector (Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environment or Quality or related areas studies is a plus).;
- Previous experience as a PSCS within the construction industry, preferably in renewable energy projects such as solar farms.
- Knowledge/Specific Training:
- Certification in Health and Safety at Work and/or Environment; (NEBOSH, IOSH);
- PSCS certification;
- Manual handling Certification;
- Safe Pass Certification;
- Training in Audits;
- First Aid Certification;
- Fire Warden Certification;
- Pedagogical competence training;
- In-depth knowledge of occupational safety regulations and environmental standards;
- Proven experience in HSE roles
- Fluent in English;
- Knowledge in other languages, Portuguese, Spanish, French is a plus value.
