YOUR MISSIONS

Reporting to the HR Director, the HR Business Partner for Ireland & UK is responsible for overseeing all HR matters within their scope and implementing HR strategy. They advise and support operational staff and managers on all HR issues and ensure that procedures are followed. The HR Business Partner for Ireland/UK oversees the administrative management of personnel and payroll for their area of responsibility, leads HR development (training and recruitment).

 

Advice and support for operational staff and managers

  • Advise and assist managers in human resources management (recruitment, dismissal, performance reviews, promotion, conflict, reflection on team organization, and suggestions for improvement);
  • Promote the HR variable in their strategic decisions;
  • Depending on the situation: assess the situation, propose an action plan with risk analysis to the HR Director on disciplinary aspects (such as dismissals, warnings, etc.), coordinate the procedures and disciplinary strategy approved by the HR Department;

Implementation of HR projects and management of Ireland/UK policies

  • Identify the various HR projects corresponding to the HR strategy in Ireland/UK and supervise their deployment in agreement with the Chief HR officer;

 

Internal and external communication

Facilitate internal communication within the company by acting as an interface between management and employees.

  • Write and share HR information via various internal communication tools (via Intranet, HR newsletters, coffee corners, etc.);
  • Host specific HR information sessions via coffee corners or group information meetings on HR topics (e.g., performance reviews, salary reviews, new HR policies, etc.);
  • Implement actions to maintain a positive social climate by actively and confidentially listening to employees and helping to boost their motivation;
  • Participate in the organization of corporate HR events (kids' day, etc.);

Personnel administration and human resources development

1/ Recruitment and integration:

  • Work with managers prior to launching the recruitment process to assess recruitment needs and challenge them;
  • Advise managers within your scope on the organization of the department and proposing alternatives;
  • Ensure compliance with the recruitment budget defined at the beginning of the year;
  • Lead the recruitment process from start to finish;
  • Plan the arrival and integration of new employees: carry out HR onboarding;
  • Monitor trial periods: regular check-ins with employees and their managers;

2/ Training:

  • Collect, analyze, and challenge the training needs of managers and employees within the scope of responsibility;
  • Deploy the training plan within the scope of responsibility;

3/ HR campaigns:

  • Supervise the smooth running of annual reviews; advise and support managers to ensure compliance with Ivolt performance review procedures;
  • Participate in salary reviews in accordance with Group HR policies and advise managers on salary decisions;

4/ Social regulations:

  • Ensure the application of social regulations and legal obligations in each geographical area within the company, in collaboration with local lawyers specializing in labor law;
  • Draft procedures (warnings, etc.);

5/ Responsible for or individual contributor to the definition and implementation of HR projects (policies, agreements, etc.):

  • Conduct benchmarking according to the theme;
  • Identify the project objectives;
  • Identify risks and present them to HR management;
  • Prepare information materials for employees;
  • Organize internal communication: lead group information sessions;

6/Payroll

  • Collect variable data and send it to the payroll provider;
  • Check and validate the monthly payroll file in collaboration with the local finance department;
  • Ensure that salaries are paid with the country finance manager;
  • Check and approve employee expense reports (using Cleemy, Excel, or Excel).
 

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES

  • Level of qualification: Master's degree, specializing in Human Resources, Labor Law, or Psychology;
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in a generalist HR role within an international company (with subsidiaries abroad);
  • Specialized knowledge Ireland labor law, personnel administration, collective bargaining agreements;
  • General knowledge in several areas of HR management: training, disciplinary procedures, recruitment, etc.;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HR software;
  • Practical knowledge of the renewable energy sector would be an advantage;
  • Fluency in English is essential (written and spoken);
  • Understanding of the different countries' law would be a plus.
