COE Grid Connection Studies Coordinator M/F

YOUR MISSIONS

As Grid Connection Studies Coordinator, your main responsibilities include:

• Coordinate the activity and manage your team (define budget, planning, allocate the resources, control time spent and quality of deliverables, train the team…), communicate with internal clients, understand their needs, and make reporting;
• Ensure that team works globally, in all geography dedicated and in close relation with the rest of the COE;
• Analysis of received technical information for a specific project (including RFP/RFQ and tenders) that impacts the Grid Connection design of the project;
• Analysis of Grid Code and information of the items which may impact the Grid Connection of the Power Plant;
• Evaluation of Grid Integration Studies in a steady, dynamic and transient state, performed internally or by third parties;
• Performance of Grid Code Compliance Studies and optimization of this process;
• Be familiar with dynamic control models that represent the behaviour of the solar and wind inverters and their respective tuning;
• Study of alternative engineering solutions for project optimization;
• Provide technical support on Executive Design (on the power systems area);
• Provide technical support during construction.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES

The ideal candidate will be/have:

• Master Degree or Degree in Electrical Engineering - Specialization in Energy Systems;
• Minimum of 5 (five) years of experience in Grid Connection Studies;
• At least 2 years of experience in coordination positions is desirable;
• MS Office, AutoCAD and Electrical Engineering software domain (DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSS/E or ETAP);
• Programming experience in Python, C/C++ or DPL;
• English language domain; French/Portuguese (valued);
• Availability for national and international travels.
